Dr. Debabrata Dash is an Adjunct Professor in the area of OB, HR & People Skills at BCCM, Bhubaneswar.
Dr. Debabrata Dash is an Electrical Engineer (B.Tech.) From CET, Bhubaneswar with PGDM from XIMB, BBSR and Ph.D. from Utkal University. Has been a rank holder through his academics. He is a Certified Competency Mapper, NLP Practitioner, Life Coach & Career Counsellor having a passion to mentor the students and Budding Managers.
Dr Dash brings with him 27 Years of Professional Experience in Human Resource Management. He has successfully and efficiently served many major private & public sector companies i.e., BILT (THE THAPAR GROUP), NALCO, ITC Ltd, JSL Ltd, Tata Motors & Tata Steel–comprising of large people management systems in various capacities at Unit, Corporate and Group Level. He has successfully led many transformational HR Initiatives including Group Digital Transformation and designed key interventions for sustainable Employee Engagement and Attraction & Retention of Talents.
He is currently working as Group Vice President (HR & ADMN) of MSPL Group, a diversified Business Conglomerate which into Mining, Palletisation, Industrial Gases, wind Power, Aviation, Shipping, Growth Projects in Steel and Few other start-ups.
He is certified by Great Manager Institute and National HRD Network for demonstrating excellent ability to Connect, Develop and Inspire the Team Members. Many of his research articles are published in various journals of repute. He has played an instrumental role in spearheading Transformational HR Initiatives & introducing Business Centric HR Policy Formulations across various organisations.
He is the recipient of Innovative HR Leader Award by World Innovation Network, Golden Peacock HR Excellence Award, HR Leadership for Change Management by World HRD Congress & Mentor for the Youth Award. Recently he has been awarded with HR Leader of the Year by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
He is an Adjunct Professor in the area of Human Resource Management at BCCM, Bhubaneswar and visiting Faculty to number of B-Schools. Besides, he is a sought-after speaker in various National Level seminars/ workshops/ conferences. As a part of his week end volunteering activities, as on date he has delivered more than 70 Campus Talks on various contemporary themes.
He is the Life Member of various professional bodies viz. NHRD, NIPM and ISTD. Dr. Dash has also created an identity for himself in the field of Odia Literature as well.
